Verizon ranked best and AT&T the worst among US carriers

Hey folks do you have Verizon network, if yes, here comes a good blow for you. Verizon wireless has topped the Annual Cell Service Provider Survey. The Consumer reports rated Verizon with the highest and AT&T with lowest satisfaction rates.
AT&T has faced many woes in gaining the love from consumer and this humiliating result is faced by it in the past as well. Except for the texting service category, the carrier has showed poor performances in almost every field ranging from value, service and consumer support.
Verizon manages to stay at first position. Sprint the other leading carrier among the four giants followed Verizon very closely in statistics.
After the first and second position you must be wondering about the third one. The third position is clinched by the T-Mobile. And after it, arrives the AT&T with lowest consumer support. News are already bubbling about the merger of T-Mobile and AT&T. AT&T has announced to acquire T-Mobile for $39 billion, but this deal receives huge opposition and antitrust scrutiny which compels AT&T to withdraw its application to the Federal Communications Commission.
Paul Reynolds, Electronics Editor for Consumer Reports said in a statement that “Our survey indicates that subscribers to prepaid and smaller standard-service providers are happiest overall with their cell-phone service. However, these carriers aren’t for everyone. Some are only regional, and prepaid carriers tend to offer few or no smart phones. The major carriers are still leading options for many consumers, and we found they ranged widely in how well they satisfied their customers.”
Nearly 66,000 subscribers participated in the survey and share their experience about the Wireless carrier of U.S. Tests have been conducted using the iPhone 4S on AT&T, Sprint and Verizon, to determine the data speeds. Results illustrates that Verizon showed the best 3G coverage and AT&T exhibits the fastest speed. Some service problems have been witnessed with the Sprint although it is the only option for iPhone in U.S.
